''Hunting Season'' is a United States comedy-drama web series created by Jon Marcus. The story was inspired and largely based on the popular blog ''The Great Cock Hunt'' and the novel of the same name published by Kensington Books〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Hunting Season-About )〕 The series is in serial short-format webisodes, each lasting between 8 and 12 minutes, and follows the romantic and sexual exploits of Alex and his small group of friends in New York City. In season 2 episodes went from 8 to 12 minutes long to 49 minutes long. On 8 November 2013, a funding project was launched on the crowdfunding website Kickstarter to fund the production of a second season of ''Hunting Season''.
